Peshawar Zalmi has been one of the finest teams in all editions of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on account of their strong lineup and consistent performance. It is not surprising that they have reached this far in PSL 2018 as well. Jawed Afridi named the team after the upcoming generation of Pakistan. Peshawar is the city and ‘Zalmi’ means youth. Therefore, today youth is going to be there at Gaddafi stadium making some noise for their favorite Zalmis. Both the teams, PZ and QG, consist of names that can change the outcome of the match.

Asad Shafiq has proven his set of skills time and again. We can’t leave him out of the PSL 2018 players list making a difference. He can destroy any opposition on his day. Zalmis should send him back to the pavilion as early as possible to confirm their chances in the final.

Lastly, we have the veteran Australian, Shane Watson. He is a class act and will leave no stone unturned in today’s match as well. He being an all-rounder makes him perfect for the 4 overs. Zalmis should block his overs if they have wickets in hand and only hitting the oddball.
